About

My over thirty-year career in the helping profession is varied and diverse. I am experienced in treating children, adolescents and adults with emotional, behavior and addictive problems in both individual and group therapy settings. I have extensive experience in private practice and in residential mental health and addiction recovery programs located in both the State of California and in the Commonwealth of Pennsylvania.

I earned my Bachelors degree in Psychology from the University of California, Irvine in 1984 and my Masters degree in Clinical Psychology with an emphasis in Marriage and Family Therapy from Azusa Pacific University in 1986. I have been licensed as a Marriage and Family Therapist in California since 1990 and in Pennsylvania since 2003.

I have been a resident of Pittsburgh’s South Hills for over twenty-five years along with my wife of thirty-five years and we have three adult children.
